1. Introduction
Dr Rajendra Prasad was a scholar who influenced anyone. People called him Rajendra Babu. Dr Rajendra Prasad became the first President of independent India. Dr Rajendra Prasad was a man free from ego and living in peasant-like costumes.

2. Birth and education of Dr` Rajendra Prasad:
Rajendra Babu was born on December 3, 1884. G Bihar was born in a village called Jiradei in Siwan district of Bihar. His father’s name was Mahadev Sahai and mother’s name was Kamleshwari Devi. He received a lot of love from parents and grandmother. Rajendra Babu’s early education took place at home. After studying Persian from Maulvi Sahab at home, he was admitted to a school in Chapra, where he got a good knowledge of Hindi and English among other subjects.
